Bristol man found guilty of killing friend, dumping body in river
A Bristol man has been found guilty of murdering his best friend.
A jury late Thursday afternoon convicted 35-year-old Todd Stewart of killing 44-year-old Mark Miller.
Evidence found Stewart shot Miller and dumped Miller's body in a 55-gallon barrel in September 2012, a barrel that was found along the St. Joseph River near the Six Span Bridge on County Road 17.
The barrel and Miller's body was found 10 days after his sister reported him missing.
Stewart worked for Miller at a tattoo parlor and faces up to 65 years in prison when he's sentenced on May 29.
