1 person injured after South Bend shooting
SOUTH BEND —
One person was injured after a shooting in South Bend Monday afternoon.
It happened near the intersection of Birdsell and Linden just before 1 p.m.
Police arrived on scene and found 24-year-old Deion Johnson had been injured. He was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police say was grazed by a bullet on his head while he was driving and is expected to be OK.
According to investigators, shots were fired from a car driving by.
Evidence was collected, however, there are no suspects at this time.
