Attorney general sending new federal prosecutors to our area
Attorney General Jeff Sessions plans to send new federal prosecutors to our area, aiming to reduce violent crime.
The prosecutors will work with Chicago's U.S. Attorney's Office.
In all, 40 new prosecutors will work throughout 27 locations, including several in Indiana and Michigan.
This move comes amidst criticism from President Trump, who often cites Chicago's gun violence issues
Right now around 150 prosecutors are working through the districts and the feds agree more are needed.
