Berrien County judge to determine evidence in Coloma double-murder trial
BERRIEN COUNTY —
A Berrien County judge is considering what should be allowed in court in a double murder trial.
The judge heard arguments from both sides in the Alex Perez case. He's accused of killing his ex-girlfriend and her father in Coloma last year.
The defense wants comments he made to police in Colorado thrown out. That's where Perez was arrested with his two kids after the murders.
The judge is expected to rule later this week.
