Brother enters plea in attack on Michigan State Trooper
BERRIEN COUNTY —
The second brother behind the attack on a Michigan State Trooper has entered a plea in the case.
Video from the attack was released back in February.
Travis Wise pleaded no contest to assault with intent to murder in Berrien County.
That comes with a recommended 15-year sentence from prosecutors.
Investigators say a trooper tried to pull over Wise's brother on U.S. 31.
That brother, Michael Barber, crashed his motorcycle near Buchanan. That's when police say Barber started fighting with the Trooper and Wise jumped in.
Barber was convicted and sentenced to 14 years in prison.
