Criminal charges may be filed against 2 suspended Notre Dame football players
SOUTH BEND —
The St. Joseph County prosecutor is expected to decide soon if criminal charges will be filed against two suspended Notre Dame football players.
Sophomore wide receiver Kevin Stepherson and freshman running back C.J. Holmes have been suspended from the team indefinitely.
Police say they were arrested at UP Mall trying to steal about $140 in clothes.
Stepherson was one of five players arrested in 2016 in Fulton County.
He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor marijuana charge.
