Driver dies in Colon Township crash
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MICH. —
A person died in a three-vehicle crash in St. Joseph County, Mich. Thursday afternoon. That is according to a press release from the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office.
Two vehicles were stopped at a construction zone on M-66 near Marvin Road in Colon Township just before 4 p.m. A third vehicle failed to stop and hit one of the stopped vehicles, pushing it into the third. One of the drivers died in the collision. Investigators have not released names of those involved pending notification of family.
Police do not believe alcohol was a factor.
