Man found guilty in attack on Michigan state trooper in Berrien County
A man was found guilty of several charges on Thursday related to attacking a Michigan state trooper.
Michael Barber was found guilty on six counts, including assault with intent to do great bodily harm, after a jury deliberated for four hours Thursday.
Police say a trooper tried to pull Barber over on U.S. 31 in February, leading to a chase that ended with Barber crashing his motorcycle near Buchanan.
Police say there was a scuffle, and Barber's brother Travis Wise pulled up and got involved.
Wise also faces several charges but is to have a separate trial.
