Elkhart police have confirmed that when officers found a Dodge Caravan registered to a missing woman in Wakarusa, it had been damaged by fire. Police believe foul play is involved in her disappearance.

Officials say 39-year-old Anastasia Reyes-Cortes hasn't been seen since last Tuesday morning.

She left to go shopping at Kroger on West Hively in Elkhart around 9:30 that morning and hasn't been seen since.

Her van was found by Wakarusa police.

Anyone with information is asking to call the Elkhart Police Department at 574-295-7070.
