Flyboarding comes to the area
One business on Lake Wawasee is giving people the chance to get airborne like a superhero.
"Everyone wants to fly like Iron Man. Everyone wants to fly without wings."
The sport is called flyboarding and it uses boots, some piping and a jet ski to propel riders into the air.
Corey Johnson started the company, Up In The Air Watersports, in September and is helping people experience the unique sensation.
"It's not difficult, anybody can do it," said Johnson. "Even people that are afraid of heights, a lot of them are even trying this because it's so cool."
Johnson said he can rocket up kids that weigh 70 pounds and people as heavy as 400.
He charges at least $100 for a half hour of renting but says it is better to get a big group and rent for a half or full day.
For those longer rentals, Johnson said he is willing to travel to lakes in the area.
