Former Notre Dame football player Kevin Stepherson admitted to violating his conditional discharge program.

A judge sentenced him on possession of marijuana as a class B misdemeanor. He was given the maximum sentence of 180 days.

The prosecutor says Stepherson has already served about half the required time and could be out of jail by the end of April.
