How to navigate parking and transportation to Notre Dame

Notre Dame Stadium// WSBT 22

A game day that's been awaited for almost 40 years is finally here.

Notre Dame will take on Georgia in a night game with kick-off starting around 7:30 p.m. EST.

Parking lots will open for fans at 7 a.m. There are also other lots across campus to park.

Shuttles are already starting to run to and from the stadium area.

If you aren't driving, Transpo is offering free bus service to and from South Bend and Notre Dame.

Parking lots are likely to be packed with people until the game starts. Tailgating is only permitted until kick-off.

Many tailgaters are likely not to go into the stadium at all because right now, some of the cheapest tickets listed online on the secondary market are around $400.

The Notre Dame Ticket office ran out of tickets but fans can still get a guaranteed valid ticket online through the Notre Dame Ticket Exchange, powered by Vivid Seats.

That is the only authorized reseller for the Notre Dame-Georgia game.

The University is warning fans about possible counterfeits online and scalpers on the streets.

Look out for fuzzy printing, rough cuts or perforations, and mismatched fonts.

Contact police if you believe you were sold a counterfeit ticket.
