A few chocolate chips, flour, butter, sound familiar?

They are all ingredients to make chocolate chip cookies.

But these cookies are being used to help a young LaPorte County boy after an accident on his family farm.

This weekend, his entire city is coming together to help his family with medical bills.

A GoFundMe page for Edward Burek-Phillips has already raised more than $17,000, and Friday through Saturday, Cafe Trilogy in LaPorte is setting up a cookie booth manned by volunteers.

There, you can donate money and in exchange get cookies for a cause.

The booth has already raised several thousand dollars
