A man is due in court in the next day, linked to several possible home invasions in Berrien County.

Police say the home invasion suspect was standing over homeowners, watching them while they slept.

It started in Benton Harbor with a report of a home invasion on Hoover Avenue around 2 Wednesday morning.

The suspect ran off after the homeowner confronted him.

About two hours later police received another home invasion report on South Ottawa.

A trooper and his K9 partner caught the suspect in a garage about an hour later on Montezuma.

Police say the 33-year-old could be linked to several other home invasions.

His name is being withheld pending arraignment.
