The famous film is hitting the stage at the South Bend Civic Theatre for a limited time this holiday season.
What's even more special two of the leading characters are related in real life.
"They can expect something very close to the movie a lot of fun, a lot of love with family and just the hiccups in life that happen in the show as well as production that we are doing,” said Don Elliott.
Jack Elliott plays the main character Ralphie, who is on a quest to get an official Red Ryder BB gun while growing up in the 1940's Midwest.
The father and son combo on stage are real life father in son off stage.
