Teen suspect taken into custody for deadly shooting at South Bend bonfire
Metro Homicide tells us a 17-year-old suspect is in custody after an early-morning shooting in South Bend that left another 17-year-old dead.
The call came in just after 2 this morning.
Police say the shooting happened at a bonfire at a home in the 55000 block of S. Hollywood Boulevard.
No word yet on what led up to the shooting.
Metro Homicide tells us they executed four search warrants and interviewed six different people in their investigation of this crime.
Names are not being released at this time.
