It's graduation weekend for Notre Dame and Saint Mary's students. While it's not time to put on the cap and gown just yet, celebrations begin on campus Friday.

Here's a run-down of some of the highlights:

At Saint Mary’s, their baccalaureate mass is Friday at 4 p.m. at the O'Laughlin Auditorium, and commencement is Saturday at noon on Le Mans Green.

As for events at Notre Dame:

The Graduate School Commencement Ceremony is 10 a.m. Saturday at the Compton Family Ice Arena.

The Law School Ceremony is 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hesburgh Library Reflecting Pool.

Baccalaureate Mass is 5 p.m. Saturday at the Purcell Pavilion, Joyce Center.

Notre Dame's graduation ceremony will be Sunday starting at 9:30 a.m.

In case of rain, Notre Dame will alert students Saturday night and move the ceremony to the Joyce Center. St. Mary's will decide by 9 a.m. Saturday if it will shift commencement to the O'Laughlin Auditorium.

"Because we have thunderstorms in the forecast for Saturday we want to be very careful with our guests, and we want to still have a wonderfully dignified ceremony for our graduates. So we are fully prepared, whether indoors or outdoors, to do those things," said Saint Mary's Associate Dean of Faculty Joseph Incandela.
