South Bend man to step down from Court of Appeals

A South Bend man is stepping down from the Court of Appeals in Indiana.

Mike Barnes will retire in June.

Barnes is the presiding judge for the Third District of the Court of Appeals.

He's served on the court for nearly 18 years.

Before being appointed in 2000, he was the St. Joseph County prosecutor.
