South Bend Officer involved in River Park crash
SOUTH BEND —
A woman is recovering after being involved in a crash with a South Bend Police car.
A police spokesperson tells us the officer had his lights and sirens on. He was conducting patrols for "Operation Pullover."
Police say the SUV didn't see or hear the officer coming and pulled into the intersection of Mishawaka Avenue and 30th Street. That's in River Park.
The officer wasn't hurt the other driver was treated at an area hospital.
