St. Joseph County Parks resume winter activities
If your kids are out of school this week, this could be fun for the family.
All activities at St. Joseph County Parks resumed Wednesday.
Tubing hills reopened Wednesday at St. Patrick’s and Ferrettie-Baugo Creek County Parks.
They closed earlier this week because of the frigid temperatures.
"You stay inside too much you get a little cabin fever. You got to come out and do something. Good exercise, it's a lot of fun. It's a good family sport," said K.C. Niebore, Leisure Services Supervisor.
You and the kids can tube everyday through Sunday and then again every weekend through March 4.
Inner tubes are provided, but sleds and toboggans are not allowed.
Of course, this is all weather permitting, but it looks like we'll have plenty of snow for some winter fun, according to WSBT 22 Chief Meteorologist Matt Rudkin.
