New information on a suspended Notre Dame football player.

Kevin Stepherson now faces a misdemeanor drug charge in Marshall County.

State police cited him for marijuana possession, speeding, and driving without a valid license.

This happened on the 14th of this month.

Earlier this week Coach Brian Kelly suspended Stepherson and freshman CJ Holmes.

Mishawaka police say they tried to steal about $140 worth of clothes from a store at UP Mall.

That arrest happened on the 15th, the day after he was cited in Marshall County.

Stepherson was one of five players arrested in August of 2016 in Fulton County.

He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor marijuana charge.
