Metro Homicide Det. Dave Wells says police found two victims when they arrived on the scene, both men.

Taylor was critically wounded and taken to Memorial Hospital where he died, confirmed Wells.

Wells says it all started with a large gathering, which turned into an altercation and led to gunfire.

Police are looking for the suspect and want to talk with anyone who knows what led to the fight.

The South Bend Police Department tweeted Wednesday morning, "If you know who killed a 19 year old male last night at 1800 N. Fremont St., at 7:00 PM, we want to hear about it. Call us or leave a tip."

A woman was taken from the scene in handcuffs for questioning. Our partners at the South Bend Tribune report police have released the woman and do not consider her a suspect.

Some people had to be physically removed from the scene.
