Voice your opinion on proposed St. Joseph County CO detector ordinance
Tonight (Tuesday) is your chance to voice your opinion on a proposed carbon monoxide ordinance in St. Joseph County.
If approved the legislation would require rental properties, nursing homes and hotels to have carbon monoxide detectors.
The plan would not require homeowners to have these detectors, but they would be strongly encouraged.
The Indiana Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission would have the final say on this ordinance.
