Benton Harbor hopes to push pace in State Quarterfinals

Benton Harbor is still alive in the MHSAA Class B boys basketball tournament.

The Tigers will take on Spring Lake on Tuesday for a spot in the Final Four, a feat they last accomplished back in 2014.

One major key for the Tigers is pace. Benton Harbor is hoping to utilize their defense to spark their up-tempo offense.

"I just think we have to stay patient on defense, Spring Lake is a very patient team, they move the ball around, so we just cant gamble as much we have to pick our poison." said Head Coach Corey Sterling. "We don't want to play their game, we want to play our style of game which is fast paced offense."
