NCAA bringing championship games to Notre Dame
NOTRE DAME —
The NCAA lacrosse championships are coming to Notre Dame Stadium.
The NCAA awarded the 2021 lacrosse quarterfinals to Notre Dame.
They will host two games in late May that year in the house that Rockne built.
Should the Irish lacrosse team be playing that weekend, that would be a huge advantage.
The NCAA is also bringing two other future championships to Notre Dame. The 2020 NCAA women's golf regional to the Warren Golf Course.
The Warren hosted a regional back in 2015. They are also the site of the 2019 U.S. Senior Open.
It's going to be a busy couple years on the golf course.
Notre Dame will also host the NCAA fencing championships at the Joyce Center in 2022.
