Notre Dame plays Ohio State Friday evening in the Sweet 16, but the Irish still don't know if their All-American forward will be able to help them.

A team spokesperson said late Monday afternoon that no decision on Brianna Turner's availability is expected until Tuesday.

Turner left Notre Dame's 2nd round game against Purdue late in the first half with an apparent left knee injury. Her left knee buckled when she jumped to catch a pass in the final minute of the 2nd quarter.

Turner fell to the floor immediately and was helped off by team medical personnel. She later returned to the court and watched the 2nd half of the game, but did not play.

Her left leg was not immobilized.

"My heart just sank," Muffet McGraw said following the game Sunday night, reacting to Turner's situation.

"You don't want to see that happen to anybody, especially your All-American."

Turner was scheduled to have an MRI on the knee Monday morning.
