Notre Dame football getting new radio talent this season
The Fighting Irish will have two new voices this fall.
Longtime Irish football national radio analyst Allen Pinkett confirmed to our partners at the South Bend Tribune that he is now out of his job.
The former Irish All-American running back says Notre Dame's new multimedia partner will not retain him nor play-by-play man Don Criqui for the network broadcasts.
Pinkett says JMI Sports wants to hire someone local to provide more coverage throughout the week.
The 54-year-old has been on Notre Dame broadcasts since 2001 with Criqui joining him in 2006.
