Notre Dame women land top-ranked player

One week after Skylar Diggins graduates, Muffet McGraw has landed the top-ranked high school player in the country.

Brianna Turner - The consensus #1 high school player in America committed to Notre Dame Friday.

Turner announced her decision in her blog, writing: "I did it. I've committed to play basketball at the University of Notre Dame. It's such a great feeling knowing that I'll be at a great school playing a sport I love, while surrounded by great people. I'm ecstatic to learn from coach McGraw and her staff, especially since she was the consensus national coach of the year! .... Notre Dame is the best fit for me overall and I couldn't be happier."

Turner is a forward from Texas, who averages more than 20 points and 10 rebounds per game. And she's won multiple gold medals with USA basketball.

Turner picked Notre Dame over Duke, UConn, Stanford & Baylor.
