Concord football holds first practice

It's the first official day of practice in Fall sports-- including football.

The Concord Minutemen were out on the practice field Monday afternoon.

For the Minutemen, the only thing that matches their level of excitement to get started are their expectations for the upcoming season.

" The excitement level here is always high. Our community, its important here, the expectations are always high, which is what you want as a coach and a player." said Concord Head Coach Craig Koehler, " Our players understand the things we've been able to accomplish here over the last 15, 20 years and that is what makes it exciting."

The Minutemen have had 13 consecutive winning seasons and hope to make it fourteen as they open the season August 18th against South Bend St. Joseph.
