Thousands of fans see Cubs World Series trophy at Four Winds Field
SOUTH BEND —
It's been almost six months since the Cubs won the World Series, and the new season is now nearly three weeks old.
But for many Cubs fans, the memories are still very fresh.
Thursday, thousands of Cubs fans in Michiana got to make another World Series Memory as the Cubs World Series trophy was on display at Four Winds Field prior to the South Bend Cubs game.
The line snaked thru the performance center out the door, and more than halfway around the ball park. Close to 7,000 people were in line to get their picture taken with a piece of history.
Andrew Berlin entertained the fans in line with his own photo op and giving a look at his World Series ring.
Some fans got in line as early as 1:00 p.m. After waiting 108 years, a few hours to see this was no big deal.
