Kelly reflects on 100th game at Notre Dame
The time certainly does fly by.
This Saturday's game against Miami will also mark a milestone. It will be Brian Kelly's 100th game as the head coach at the University of Notre Dame.
He joins Knute Rockne, Frank Leahy, Ara Parseghian and Lou Holtz as the others others to coach in as many games.
Kelly is hoping for three more wins and a chance to join those legendary coaches in another category: National Championship winning coaches.
Earlier this week, Kelly reflected on the milestone.
"I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would ever get a chance to coach one game at Notre Dame. So to think of 100, I can't even, you know, wrap my arms around that. Look, I try not to think in those terms, but I'm honored. I would have liked to have won even more games for our fans and for our players. But my focus is on beating Miami," said Kelly.
