SB Cubs Jimenez shines in MLB Futures game


South Bend Cubs star Eloy Jimenez shined in Sunday's Major League Baseball Futures game.

The 19-year old wowed everyone with a towering home run in the ninth inning, off the facing of the Western Metal Supply building's third deck. Jimenez finished 2 for 3 with four RBIs and starred defensively as he led the World to an 11-3 win over the U.S. snapping a six game losing streak.

Jimenez has a .332 batting average with 58 RBIs and 10 home-runs for the South Bend Cubs in 80 games so far this season.
