It was a chance to have a little fun at a local school as a few kids got the opportunity to get dirty for a great cause.
St. Pius X kicked off Catholic Schools Week with their Rainbow Day and "Dash for Cash."
Students were picked at random to crawl around for 30 seconds and pick up real and fake money.
The real money was donated by Teachers Credit Union and will be donated to the Adopt a Seminarian program at the church.
"We potentially raised upwards of $1,000 for them," said School Communications Director Kim Mauch. "We actually communicate with them, so we are able to find out some of their favorite things, some of the things they might like to do that they don't get to do."
The fake money is then used by the classrooms for school activities.
Students were also entertained by musician Billy Jonas.
