St. Joseph VA Health Clinic to open soon

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY — The new St. Joseph VA Health Care Center will officially open its doors September 18.

Starting next week Wednesday Transpo is adding a new stop to the bus route from South Bend and Mishawaka to the clinic.

The bus stop will be located alongside Trinity Place near the main entrance of the health center in Mishawaka.

The VA will be installing the Transpo bus stop signs this weekend.

This is video from April when WSBT 22 toured the building as it was under construction.

The clinic is expected to be unveiled in three phases.

The first will offer Primary Care and women's health services in September.

Phase two and three will offer Cardiology, mental health and eye services.
