Mother of boy killed in school bus crash files wrongful death lawsuit
The mother of a 13-year-old boy killed in a bus crash is now filing a wrongful death lawsuit.
Owen Abbott died last week when a truck hit his school bus on U.S. 31.
The bus had been stopped at a railroad crossing between Argos and Plymouth
Owen's mother now filing the lawsuit against the driver Tylor Perry and his employer National Rent A Fence Company.
It claims Perry was reckless and driving in a negligent manner. The lawsuit also says he failed to stop for the school bus stopped at the crossing.
Right now police have not arrested or cited Perry for the accident.
