Bus involved in crash in front of Paw Paw High School

A school bus was involved in a crash outside Paw Paw High School Thursday morning. No one was hurt in the crash. (WWMT/Jessica Wheeler)

PAW PAW, Mich. - Authorities are responding to a crash involving a school bus in Paw Paw Thursday morning.

It happened in front of Paw Paw High School in the 30000 block of Red Arrow Highway near Almena Drive around 7 a.m. Thursday.

Van Buren County deputies told Newschannel 3 the bus was attempting to turn out of the school parking lot and didn't see the eastbound car. The bus pulled out and was hit by that car.

There were about 20 kids on the bus at the time, but no one was hurt on the bus or the car involved in the crash, according to the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office.

Red Arrow Highway is not shut down and crews are working to clear the bus now.
