Elkhart County police chase ends in Cass County crash


A chase that started in Elkhart County late last night ended with a crash in Cass County, Michigan. That's according to police dispatch.

Police say this started just before 11:30 Tuesday night in the area of Bristol Street and CR 10. Police say they tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation, but the driver wouldn't stop.

The pursuit continued into Cass County where the suspect's vehicle crashed in the area of Cassopolis Road and Crooked Creek Road, say police.

The driver had to be flown to Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, say police.

They say charges are pending review by the Elkhart County Prosecutor's Office.
