An Elkhart woman has pleaded guilty to her husband's murder.

Police arrested Angelica Castillo in Georgia in August. Elder Castillo was reported missing last May.

Less than two weeks later, police found his body inside a home on Hiawatha Drive in Elkhart.

Angelica Castillo told police she knew her husband was dead, but she claimed he was killed by an uncle and she couldn't say anything because that man was part of the Mexican cartel.

Castillo will receive 45 years in prison at her sentencing next month.
