The conviction against a Granger man has been reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor.

The court made the ruling in the case against Kyle Treber.

He pleaded guilty to possession of a narcotic.

The case goes back to a party in Granger in 2015.

Two brothers, Jack and Nick Savage, died from drugs they got there.

Treber was originally charged with drug dealing, but those charges were dropped. The judge reduced his conviction after Treber completed the conditions of his sentence.
