A man from Washington D.C. led police from multiple departments on a wild chase that crossed the state line and ended in LaGrange County.

According to the St. Joseph County Michigan Sheriff's Office, White Pigeon Police tried to stop a SUV that was speeding through the village shortly before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The man continued east on US-12, reaching a speed up to 130 miles per hour.

Sturgis Police deployed stop sticks when the chase entered Sturgis Township, but the driver continued into Indiana.

St. Joseph County Michigan and White Pigeon officers continued the chase until LaGrange County and Indiana State Police picked it up.

The driver took the Indiana Toll Road west before heading back east, and pulling into a Holiday Inn just south of the State Line.

This is when the LaGrange County Sheriff's Office says 33-year-old Ramon Hall got out of the vehicle and tried to run from them.

Officers managed to catch the man and book him in the LaGrange County Jail.

So far, the man is facing charges for Fleeing and Eluding in LaGrange County, but charges are still pending from the St. Joseph County Michigan Sheriff's Office along with the White Pigeon Police Department.
