‘I will see you in prison’ – Mom asks for help after South Bend woman murdered
Family is speaking out after the body of a South Bend woman is found near Cook, Minnesota.
Police are looking for 40-year-old Daniel Lynn, also of South Bend. They say Lynn is the suspect in 28-year-old Christina Woods’ death.
The family of Woods are heartbroken, and now they're making a passionate plea to the public for justice.
"I am making it loud and clear, I will see justice for my daughter,” said Mary Robinson. “This is one determined mom that is not going to give up and I am not letting this go. I will see you in prison."
Robinson says she received word Tuesday that her daughter's body was discovered in a shallow grave on property belonging to suspect Daniel Lynn's family. She says she was in disbelief.
"I wanted to know for sure that they actually had hard proof that it was her. So many thoughts have crossed my mind like, why did he do this?"
Woods was first reported missing in June. Her family handed out flyers and posted to social media in the hope of finding her.
Robinson called Lynn a coward and asks that anyone with accurate information to come forward to police.
"They need your help. I want justice for my daughter and for her family. Her kids deserve the right to have justice for their mom."
Lynn in 5'10" and weighs 210 pounds. He is bald with tattoos on his neck.
He was last seen in Minnesota.
Police say he has connections here and it's possible he may be back in Indiana.
Again, if you know anything, you are asked to contact police.
