Man accused of killing his father to be sentenced
It took one hour for a Cass County jury to find a man guilty of first degree murder.
Now he faces life in prison.
They say 33-year-old Joseph Craigo is responsible for the death of his father Alan Craigo.
Police say Craigo stabbed his father 11 times in March.
Craigo initially blamed his father, saying he was trying to defend himself. Then he told Michigan State Police his mother actually committed the murder and he was taking the fall. But during the trial, Craigo admitted to the stabbing.
He will be sentenced at 8:30 a.m. Friday.
