Juvenile suspects hold Domino's delivery driver at gunpoint in Michigan City, say police
Police say five suspects in an armed robbery in Michigan City have been taken into custody.
It happened on Sunday, February 10, according to the release. Officers responded to calls of an armed robbery just before 6:45 p.m in the 700 block of E. 10th St.
They say a Domino's delivery driver was approached by a few juveniles, who pointed a handgun at him and demanded money.
They obtained the money, as well as the pizza that was to be delivered.
Police say they were able to track the suspects' footprints to a residence, where the gun and other evidence were collected.
The suspects were taken into custody.
According to the press release, four of the suspects -- three males and one female -- were charged with Armed Robbery, a Level 3 felony. One of the males is 16 years and the other two are 15. They say the female is 14.
The fifth suspect, 16, was charged with Resisting Law Enforcement, a Class A Misdemeanor.
