Memorial held in honor of local toddler who tragically died in cruise ship accident

A heartbreaking goodbye in Granger.

Chloe Wiegand is being remembered on Monday, killed after falling out of a window on a cruise ship. The 18-month-old was the daughter of South Bend police officer Alan Wiegand.

Officers attending her funeral today all carried a carnation -- and one of them was even carrying a hand-drawn picture of Chloe.

South Bend's mayor and the St. Joseph County prosecutor also attended.

The girl's mother used to work in the prosecutor's office.
