Mishawaka police: Suspect said he thought bank was the Holiday Inn

Officers responding to a burglary alarm at the Grape Road 1st Source Bank branch in Mishawaka say they got an unexpected excuse from the man they found inside.

Police say they arrived to find a broken window and, after some searching, 21-year-old James Jones of Wyoming still inside the bank.

Jones was taken into custody without incident. Police say he told them he thought the bank was the Holiday Inn.
