New eye equipment is coming to Beacon Children's Hospital.
The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians and Four Winds Casino hosted a donation ceremony on Tuesday.
The 2019 Four Winds Golf Invitational raised nearly $130,000 for the cause.
The money buys eye imaging equipment made specifically for babies. Beacon officials say this will help families across our area.
"We're the only pediatric hospital in northern Indiana,” said Larry Tracy, President of Beacon. “We want to keep these kids as close to home as possible and it only happens through terrific partnerships such as this one. "
Doctors say the equipment allows them to provide more specialized care to the young patients.
