Niles holding its first Renaissance Faire this weekend
Happening this weekend: Niles is opening a gate to the past with its first Renaissance Faire.
The event being held Saturday and Sunday at South Riverfront Park off Bond Street.
The fair will feature a variety of performances, like pirate lore, Celtic and folk music, magic and storytelling.
There will also be vendors selling handcrafted items and food available.
The fair is open 10 to 4 both days, rain or shine.
Cost is $5 per adult and $2 for ages 5 to 12.
Children under 4 are free.
Only cash will be accepted at the gate.
