Police investigate shooting at Goshen apartment complex

Police in Goshen say they are investigating a shooting Tanglewood Apartments in the 2400 block of W. Clinton Street.

Officers responded to the scene just after 4 a.m. Tuesday after multiple residents of Woodhaven apartments across the street from Tanglewood reported hearing gunshots. Police then responded to Goshen Hospital where the shooting victim was being treated.

According to a news release from the Goshen Police Department:

The victim, a 35 year old male from Goshen, stated that he was shot while backing his vehicle from the carport area near his residence. He further stated that the suspect then fled the area. The shooting is not believed to be random.

Police do not believe this shooting was random.
