Power outage prompts 2-hour delay at Wa-Nee Community Schools

Power has mostly been restored to the Nappanee area, following an overnight power outage.

At one point, Nipsco, was reporting nearly 500 customers were without power.

Elkhart County Dispatch tells WSBT 22, they've received multiple reports of the stoplight being out at S.R. 19 and C.R. 42.

Wa-Nee Community Schools is operating under a 2-hour delay as a result of the outage.
