Several departments respond to auto repair shop fire in Elkhart County

We're told no one was hurt in a business fire Friday afternoon in Elkhart County.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. at Garcia Auto Repair on County Road 9, just north of city limits.

WSBT 22 reporter James Fillmore spoke with the owner ofGarcia Auto Repair who said he had just returned from lunch when he found his business on fire.

The owner and family members say they have no idea how it started.

Many departments responded to the fire including Osolo Twp, Cleveland Twp, Bristol and Elkhart City fire departments.
